The Boston Group for Psychoanalytic Studies

The Boston Group for Psychoanalytic Studies, Inc (BGPS) grew out of the conference organizing committee for the 2009 International Bion in Boston Conference held in Boston, MA in July 2009.  Members of the organizing committee established BGPS in 2007 outside of formal psychoanalytic institute structures and with the following mission:

The Boston Group for Psychoanalytic Studies, Inc. (BGPS) is a nonprofit educational organization which sponsors seminars, lectures, small group clinical discussions and conferences.  BGPS is a non-affiliated organization that promotes immersion in contemporary international psychoanalysis.
